Our latest gear in our PROTOTYPE PROGRAM is the DELTA 7. This is a lumbar pack and sling made here in our studio in small batches. Like all PROTOTYPE PROGRAM gear, these serve as a platform to share ideas and experiments with those that want to be on the edge of our design process.
FAST-ACCESS/MULTI-CARRY
We designed this DELTA 7 with fast access in mind. This drove our decision to include dual Tweave® stretch pockets that are always within reach. These pockets are perfect for earbuds, keys or a power bar. Inside the main body are two open pockets and a large Tweave® stretch pocket along the back side large enough for a phone or Nintendo Switch. The front pocket is a water resistant pocket perfect for a phone. This pack includes integrated compression straps that run underneath the Tweave® pockets so the bag may be compressed down without losing functionality.
MATERIAL TECH
We made the DELTA 7 in four variants. The yellow and red/white versions are made of VX21 X-PAC ™ while the MUILTCAM® version is a combination of NPLX600 fabric from North Sails and X33 X-PAC™. We also made a few out of UDX40/UVX40 X-PAC™. The sling are lined with a 400d white nylon from Brookwood.
WEATHER RESISTANT TECH
All materials have been selected for their durability and weather resistance. Exterior zippers to main access points are YKK Aquaguard® that employ a PU coating for water resistance.
