X50/X51 X-PAC™ FABRIC WITH CORDURA® FACE
X-PAC fabrics are composite textiles that feature multiple layers, each providing specific performance properties. The X50/X51 fabrics use a Cordua® nylon face fabric for additional abrasion resistance. This is then laminated to an X-PLY™ polyester reinforcement for added strength in multiple directions. Laminated to the back is a polyester film for water resistance and added stability. |

VX42/VX21/VX07 X-PAC™ FABRIC
VX Series fabrics are some of our favorites for their balance of strength, light-weight, and abrasion resistance. These fabrics have a proven track record of standing up to amazing abuse while keeping weight to a minimum. We use these fabrics on many of our bags and the CHARLIE 25 is exclusively constructed of VX Series textiles. |

EPX SERIES FABRIC FROM CHALLENGE SAILCLOTH®
Challenge Sailcloth Fabrics are some of the newest fabrics we've incorporated into our gear. We use EPX600 fabric for it's perfect combination of burley 600d face combined with 45º cross-plies and really nice 70d polyester backer fabric. This fabric looks almost canvas-like at first glance but incorporates top-level technology within. |

UVX40 ADVANCED COMPOSITE X-PAC™
For special projects, we employ UVX40 X-PAC™ fabric. This is a proprietary Sailcloth weave of Ultra PE fiber (like Spectra and Dyneema) blended with polyester to create a super tear and abrasion resistant, waterproof fabric for those seeking top performance and longevity. |
|
SPECTRA® GRIDSTOP
For specific applications we use 201d GRIDSOP fabric. This is a 201d nylon with a HDPE SPECTRA FIBER® rip-stop grid. This reinforcement increases abrasion resistance, tear and tensile strength to a make a robust and lightweight fabric. |
|
HARDWARE
For all our packs, we use trusted names in hardware including ITW™, Duraflex®, Woojin® and NIFCO®. Each of these suppliers have specific internal engineering and testing practices to ensure their hardware will perform in range of temperatures and are fatigue tested to make sure each part can handle its intended load. |
|
YKK® AQUAGUARD® & RC COIL ZIPPERS
We use YKK® RC (racquet coil) zippers for their reliability and longevity. YKK's RC zipper is a modified version of their original coil and is able to handle greater abrasion. YKK's Aquaguard® zipper is an RC zipper with a water resistant polyurethane coating for exterior applications where water resistance is critical. |

NYLON WEBBING
We use nylon webbing weave style MIL-W-17337. These webbings are able to resist abrasion greater than a similar polypropylene equivalent. We also find this webbing works excellently with our buckles and locks. |
